So I'd like to be able to play Gamecube games on my wii. I started off with the whole Multiboot thing only to find out that rarely any games would actually work shrunk, let alone play on a multiboot.

I decided just to burn unshrunk iso after iso to ensure that I could play the game. So I burned Kirby's Air Ride. It got to through the opening credits, I hit start & got the error that the disc could not be read. So I tried it again and before the opening credits could even roll I received an error that the disc could not be read again

I decided to try three (actually many) times and whenever the game TRIED to load I was flashed a blue screen and the wii rebooted every time I tried to load the game again.

I tried to stick in Soul Calibur 2's iso and the game kept flashing me a blue screen and rebooting the Wii.

What can I do, What's happening, and is there a "proper" way to burn GC games for the Wii?

What Modchip do you have and what firmware do you have on the Wii?

Some Wiikey users have had issue with Game Cube games and the 3,0U update. Booting with a GCoS boot disc can fix this problem. You can get the boot disc HERE.

You will need to boot the GCoS boot disc first then swap it with the GC disc.

If you don't want to go through all those steps, you could always try creating a Multi-game disc but dont shrink the GC ISO's. You can get 3 games per disc if you keep them the correct ISO size.

But the GCOS doesn't helped every games, some game still don't worked. The reason why some games won't worked, because the wiikey doesn't have a stable audiofix.

The readme is damn darn well poorly written!

I get it that I put all/any roms in the ROM folder (durr) but there's

Create_iso_NTSC-US44.exe and
Create_iso_NTSC-US14.exe

My best guess is that the US44 is for Wii and US14 is for GC, right?
