okay like 2 weeks before my PSX games play just fine and now whenevry i try booting them it freezes at the black warning screen...any idea why???

You could just go to recovery -> advanced -> toggle USB(flash 1) and then delete all the files in flash 1... That's the manual way of doing formating it.
