After I use dvd decrypter to rip the iso file, what file do I burn in nero the iso or mds? Do I choose DVD data to burn it or should I pick something else. Also, how to I change the writing speed in nero by half because it has it as 48x and I want to change it to 24x.

Game you backed up is a dvd game right? In nero, go to write from image mode. Not as data dvd.

Also, in nero, if you click the left hand side arrow, it will expand, giving you speed options.

since you read it with dvd decrypter, why not burn it with dvd decrypter? Also, doesn't really matter if you choose iso or mds.

i burn the mds file on dvd decrypter but the ps2 console doesn't read it and I was wondering maybe burning it with nero would work.

I never trusted dvd decrypter with burning my image file. It screwed up one dvd in the past so I don't want to use it again. Nero works fine for all my purposes.
