I'm, currently, on 3.40 OE-A. I was on 3.52 M33 once but I had a few problems with it. Should I upgrade to 3.52 M33-4?

Is there something new that happenned between 3.40 and 3.52?

it's actually 100% no umd compability, tell some games that don't work.

Check forums for games that don't work.

Uh.. just curious, my Mario RPG runs a little laggy, and Starfox for snes doesn't run at all (like 2 fps lol) would ROMS and such run better generally on M33? I know FF7 apparently does.

What does "Better pops combapility" mean?
And UMD.ISO support? You mean now you can download movies in ISO format? What's the difference between movie ISOs and putting the MPEG-4 movie in the VIDEO folder in the root of your PSP?

better pops compatibility means that u have more compatibility with psx(ps1) games;yes, it means that supports umd video iso, the difference between this and mpg4 is that this is better converted

ps:sorry for my bad english :p

Hey again btfan, just thought i'd post to break your lovely chain of members :)

Yes, i'd say it was worth updating to 3.52 M33-4 (I'm sticking with 3.40 OE-A for a little longer though, heh)

3.52 m33 is ok, bun not as good as 3.40E-A if i was you I'd wait for 3.51 XR because 3.52m33-4 does some weird things sometimes.
And about the ISO video, yes they have better quality but it doesn't really matter if you have a good converter you can convert you MP4 file almost as good as ISO

Ok, I think I'll stay with 3.40 OE-A because I won't use the No-UMD option because when I'm tired of playing my ISO's, I play a UMD. And Some games don't work with No-UMD...and what's the point of No-UMD? Does it make the PSP lighter?

And I already have all my movies converted so I don't think I want to reconvert them and download new ones...

I also don't use PSX games.

I'll stick with 3.40 OE-A and I kind of agree with ng2007.

Thanks a lot for breaking my [i]lovely[i] chain of Members! :(

I'm so sorry :D

But i should be allowed to *BT*

I'm just staying with 3.40 OE-A because M33 hates me, seriously, every1 is fine with it, yet i can't play homebrew on it :(

maybe you are putting stuff on the wrong places or in other case you will have to go to recovery mode and set everything right so you could play

If i have the same settings in 3.40 OE-A and still put it in the right folders, does it mean it should still work? Yes... but it doesn't. I know what i'm doing when it comes to that kind of thing, i've even consulted other people, and they agree my settings are fine and indeed should be able to run homebrew.

Thats why my starfox was like, and tbh, i havent tried again since i went to 3.52-2 M33. All my other roms (in fact, all my emulators) run the same as when i was on 3.40 OE

As for FFVII, Vast increase, the screen doesn't glitch when you get certain status ailments anymore.

Torrents;

www.piratebay.org

www.torrentspy.com

www.isohunt.com

There are loads more... anyway, you'll need a torrent program for downloading them, try utorrent or azureus.

the no-umd drive is pretty impressive.i havent upgraded it yet and i dont think i will unless someone can tell me if upgrading from 3.40OE-A to 3.52M33 will keep my recovery even if i semi-bricked it.as long as i still have recovery mode then i'll upgrade to 3.52M33 as i can un-brick it :).but someone gotta answer me...it's really important to me.thanks psp dudes!
