I have a wiikey in my wardrobe! and when i brought it i heard that a wiip v2 is coming out back in may or something. Im quite fed up now and im am thinking to mod my wii now and i only want to do it once, 4) so should i mod it with the wiikey now or wait cos i dont wanna get it professionalyu installed twice in a matter of a couple of months?

Now what did i say 2 months ago when they announced that!! Yeah Xecuter releasing a chip for the Wii yeah Right, once again they prove themselve to be a worthless and undependable if only they would shut up about their releases and giving everyone false hopes - like the chips they have prodiced in Hong Kong/China are going to be stopped by the US Feds reminds me of an excuse i saw for an update on a very popular chip recently lol
I took my Wii apart and installed the Wiikey chip. It was the first time I have EVER modified a console. I lost screws and had to drill the heads off of two of them. The system is barely held together properly.
yeah i remember someone saying that lol,i modded the wii perfectly but i also lost screws and soldered some screws off also i broke the ribbon cable connector so no i dont want to do it again! im trying to see if some guy on ebay wants to mod my wii with the wiikey, i waited this long for no reason!

I was just wondering where you have been getting your crack cocaine because you obviously were high when you wrote this.
Anybody who has spent any amount of time in the modding scene whether it be xbox, xbox360, gamecube or whatever knows that everything that team xecuter has put out has been the highest of quality and they have release everything that they intended and announced that they would. The wii chip is another story due to the raids but you can't fault a company with a near perfect record. You are obviously a noob and knows nothing of the modding and homebrew scene to be bashing on team xecuter.
LOL, I would upgrade if it supported D2C chipset. Thats the only problem that I have experienced with the wiikey. I have some friends that have that chipset and are waiting for a solution
I think it best you wait to see if the wiikey come out a updated or not, since they are having updated problem on D2B chipset, the wiinja had to rebuilt their chip in order for the D2B to be updated, and even if you have a D2A chipset the delayed are pending because of D2B user. The new updated is very important because it support dual layers and Nintendo will be releasing DVD9 in the future. All other chips have already supported DVD9 with their lastest updated, the wiikey is not so far. Just to let you know.
yeah Kafluke you probably right I must have been smoking something wasnt paying attention I was Thinking Xtender(XCM) the ones who always advertise the custom console mods on the page and only a fraction of them actually hit the stores and thats why I was thinking bullshit on a Modchip sorry about that as for Xecuter though I wouldnt say they were the best I dont remember there name on a chip for the GC I remember Viper being the best followed by Qoob and for the PS2 DMS Tech made the best chips though they had a strong front on the Xbox scene though there are comparable chips I dont blame them for igiving up Softmods destroyed any reasoning on that so 3.0CE is def the end of that one and have yet to see them enter the 360 scene but oh well thats Fine wiikey works just fine
