I'm a bit confused. I made a backup of a game. First time I played it it worked just fine. Then I removed it and did something else for a while. then went to put the backup back in to play and it loads up and then starts to give me problems like no sound or locking on lead screens. I thought it was a bad burn so I made another disc and burned slower. Same thing, worked great untill I took it out for a while then it started giving me issues. After a few trys the game will start working fine and then can play for hours with no problems...I can even turn the xbox off overnight and play the next day with no problems as long as I do not take the game out of the xbox. Soon as I remove the game it has problems initially. Does this make any sence to anyone?

Sounds like the problem may be coming from a hardware problem with your xbox. See if you get this issue with a non backup disk. If you do its either the flash, which I doubt. Or some hardware issue affecting your gameplay. As a possiable fix you might try putting a 0800 enable disk in you xbox if they work on the fw your using to try and "reset" it.

I only get this problem with one game. Everything else works just fine no problems. All my games are burned the same on the same media. Very strange. Three burns of this game so far and I have one copy that works the best it seems. I burned it at 1x. Still not sure what the dealeo is though. What is the 0800 thing your talign about?

I downloaded it cause I wanted to keep my game sealed.

thats where the problem probably lies then, could be a bad rip, or a file is missing who knows.

It's still probably a problem with your laser if the game was ok at first. It usually starts with one game messing then others will follow.

If its a problem with only one game the first thing I would recommend is to stop wasting money burning it. If you want to keep your original in mint collector condition I would try renting the game again to make sure you even want it. And then open her up to make a correct backup..
