Hi all, I just got my PS2 modded today but the thing is that most backup games play only in black and white and there's no a single color. Can this problem be caused by the modchip? and then again why some other games play in color? Have anybody had this problem before? Please help if u know or had this problem

It's not because of Modchip or PS2 . It's because your TV does'nt support multiple regions. check your TVs region (PAL/NTSC). And only
the games that have similar Region to your TVs Region will work in perfect color. unless you get a multi-region TV.

so its because of the TV, thanx and I hope ur right and do u think that adapter which has scart in and antenna out will help in this

I think you need A NTSC/PAL converter box. As I live in India I have no clue about SCART.

damn!!! I looked all over Vienna and I couldn't find a single seller for the NTSC/PAL converter. The thing is I don't even know if I need NTSC to PAL converter or vise versa. Is there a converter that could do both? and what is the best online seller for these things?

by the way, my PS2 is PAL as well as my TV but the game is NTSC so which converter should I use if any?

if your game is ntsc and tv is pal then you need a ntsc->pal converter

also get this proggy. you will have to burn all the games over again on a new dvd but this program will convert it for you so there will be color.
