IE7 Icon Problem

I just installed IE7, but the main desktop Icon didn't change to the IE7 icon, with the gold ring and everything. It's stayed as before with the IE6 icon. And I can't change it. The other places with IE7, it shows the right icon, but except the desktop one. If I click properties, it takes me to the internet options, so I can't change it like a normal icon. Can anybody help me with this?

delete the shortcut then copy/paste a new shortcut from somewhere else
