Ok, this game freakin rocks. This is the wii game I've been waiting for. I just wanted to proclaim my gratitude for a very well developed wii gaming experience! The controls are absolutely fantastic. I don't know how I'm going to play bioshock or Halo3 now after aiming and shooting with the wii remote. The level design is great too. Lovin it!

I dont know about best game as i've always been a Zelda fan. But definitly best fps game out right now. Graphics are awsome. Its no 360 but looks dam good for a nintendo game.

I'm a huge Zelda fan also but I was a bit dissapointed with twilight princess. Not because there was anything wrong with at all but because it wasn't long enough. It was a great game and I wanted to play more of it.

I'm only on the first boss but now i'm having disc read problems, but do the graphics look any better later on because on the first level they're not that good as everybody says they are. As far as the controls go i'm very pleased and also i'm playing the boss on veteran and can't beat him, would it be a cheap move to put it on easy just for the boss?

i dont have metroid but i just hope its not all kiddy and lame. zelda is, fun but kinda lame. i hope metroid brings the action and instensity. as for zelda its like 50 hours long holy crap and no the graphics dont improve. wats the first boss again. im 28 hours into it and its pretty cool.

Metroid isn't kiddy at all and yes zelda can get kind of lame, the first boss was a giant plant that's like a venus fly trap.

thats cool. zelda's lame in a lot of ways but still very fun. i like it but at times it's like omzg i just want an ak47 and some grenades to f#@# this place up. I don't even remember the first boss, its so long. YOu could try looking at a guide to beat it. ign has a good one. here you go http://guides.ign.com/guides/748589/page_8.html now i remeber i would suggest locking on when throwing bombs and staying back to get the bpmbs from the ape.

Yeah the multiplayer in Prime 2 was sick that's too bad they couldn't add it in 3 and then put it online.

Nope, i'm only on the end of the first level but my disc is corrupt so i'm waiting for nintendo to fix it, so you'd have to ask someone else, but right now it's only ok. And i'm sure that's because it's the first level.

It gets much better beyond the first boss. You know how metroid works, you first have to go through the first level to set the tone and to get the back story and then the real game starts. There are some great elements to this game that didn't exist in the others such as the phazon enhanced suit. You'll love that one and it will help you to defeat much tougher enemies.

one of the best games ever not the best though. I mean no games really compare to super mario bros 1 2 3 and super mario world.
But this is by far the best game on the wii. I dont like zelda got about 20 hrs in and quit playing.
Graphics on metroid do indeed get better after the first boss too. Once you get to the second planet

Yeah it was pretty short. Plus to me it felt a little dull. It needed more oomph.
I'm playing MP3 right now and it's alright- not the greatest. Too much backtracking and getting lost not knowing what to do.

How was twilight princess short? It was the longest zelda game at an average of 50 hrs. even though i know a lot of people that beat in 20-30, either way it's either as long as or even longer than ocarina of time.

wonder wat will be the next metroid game? since metroid prime 3 is the end of its trilogy(gotta say metroid prime 3 is a great game). will the next metroid top metroid prime 3 or will it skip another nintendo generation(home console)? like wat happen to n64, cuz super metroid for snes was also a great game, then it skip n64, which had no metroid games. wat do u guys think?

Yah this may be the last metroid game for CONSOLES in a while, also retro studios is saying they're gonna take a break from the metroid series,so if a new one is released it's not going to be a prime game, it'll just be a new metroid game. And there's a rumored one coming out for the ds.

oh wow. if you think metroid is the best game. nvm... but i mean there are alot of good games coming out for 360 and wii this fall. brawl, super mario galaxy! halo 3. call of duty 4 (dont think that comes out this fall) but you get my point try some more wii games you will enjoy your wii more and wont get tired of it as soon.

If you can only buy three games for the wii (not including Wii Sports), they should be:
1) The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
2) Metroid Prime 3 Corruption
3) Mario Strikers Charged Football
All great first party titles. Wii has it made.
SPM didn't make my top 3: It's not really an RPG and it's not really a platformer. Heck, it's not really a Wii game by the feel of the play controls. Still good though...
