lol a kernal is where the homebrew is run from like the folder game150 or game352 if you have the kernal 150 then homebrew run from game150, but if you have 3.40le it autodetects homebrew so you dont have to worry about it, hopefully m33 will come with something like that

I think thats what i meant :P

If its set to 1.50 it allows homebrew to be ran from /game/ , not /game150/ or is that just on 3.40 Oe?

I've posted this message 1 month after...So it's not double posting?So, is it true that if I obtain the CFW, 3.40LE then I can play homebrew AND ISOs on the same kernel?Or is it wiser for me to get 3.52M33-4?Don't even think about suggesting 3.71M33...Horrible FW :D

@tehsick

You are correct.

The 1.50/3.40 kernel has nothing to do with GAME150 or GAME340 folders.

The 1.50/3.40 kernel in recovery menu determines what kernel the GAME folder will boot apps with.

It lets you play 1.50 or 3.40 homebrew from the GAME folder.

So you can place Homebrew that requires 1.50 kernel in the GAME folder but you will need to have the kernel set to 1.50 in order for it to run.

The easiest setup is to place all homebrew that requires 1.50 kernel in the GAME150 folder (The GAME150 folder always uses 1.50 kernel) and place anything that runs at a higher kernel in the GAME folder and set the kernel to 3.40 in recovery menu under the GAME folder option.

That way you don't need to keep switching the kernel between 1.50 and 3.40 for the GAME folder.

This is the same for M33 CFW as well.
