i made a lag switch an hour ago and i need help. when i turn the switch off, i get disconnected from xbl instead of the lag/standby effect. help!!!! thx

It's not going to work. Your either gonna lagg out or get that screen until u reconnect. So it was kind of a waste to make it.
In fact I think we would be fooling our selves if we have a community this large, and did not realize that there are some enemies present. |

So you're tired of getting your a$$ handed to you by all the scum bag cheaters on Live so you figured, what... "if I can't beat them, I'll join them"... Take your $hit elsewhere. I'm sick of all the cheaters on Live who don't want to play and get good. They rather cheat... why even bother having a 360 if you suck so bad and don't want to try and get better so you have to resort to cheating?

damn the wolves come out but im am with them here is some help though it wont work because you are cutting off the flow of bytes completely you need to have some passing threw to keep you conected

i dont actually see how lag is advantageous but i always get lag when im running utorrent lol, doesnt cost a penny!

I think his whole purpose for this *lag* switch is to make a cheap and inefective form of standbying.

The idea behind the lag switch is while the user is running around killing people, all the other players see the users character running, then freezing, then running, then freezing, etc., etc. So, while the other players are shooting at the "frozen" character, the lag user is already in a different position and can in turn kill the other players without them knowing where he is.

ic... so how is it that when ever i get lag cos i 4get to pause clients, i freeze on my screen to so i dont actually get time to move anywhwere it just gives them time to see where i am and prepare for where i will be. dont worry im not gona start using lag to cheat i just would like to understand the fascination

DS i know what you mean i love learning new things im not for sure but im thinking it it depends on how far the connection drops my thinking come because ive noticed if i set my clients to dl at a slower speed there is less lag i guess u could use this idea as a weapon by finding the perfect medium but this is all my own theory

yeah i see what your saying it would make sense, its really quite sad though the length people will go to... making a lag switch... to win games. the hours it takes to create, then troubleshoot, then get used to using it, you could actually practice playing the game in that time and improve a fair bit
