OK so popstation doesnt seem to work for me.. but before I get into that I'll explain what I'm using, and what I'm doing to make it easy on you guys.

I'm using a psp with the 3.40oea fw.

I'm using the GUI version of popstation.

I used ultraISO to create my playstation ISO.

The game I'm trying to run is Tenchu Stealth Assassins, which is in the list of games that should theoreticially work on the psp.

I have configured the required settings in recovery mode in order to run ISO's (runs PSP iso's just fine)

A UMD (Lumines, and yes I had it before the downgrader phenominon) is in my PSP.

I am running the 3.40 kernel.

I loaded the ISO into popstation, and it created my Tenchu_Stealth_Assassins folder.
I took the folder and opened it to verify what it had done, and I found a large eboot file and a key file to confirm the conversion was a success. I then took the entire Tenchu_Stealth_Assassins file and copied it to the GAME folder on my MS. I have also tried copying it to the GAME 150 folder as well.

When I find the application on my psp, It shows the icon, and begins to load the app, giving me the preload screen in black with white lettering. Shortly after this the screen goes black as if to load, but then I get the "could not load game 800000004" error. This happens in either GAME or GAME 150 folders.



so my question to you all is..

folder/filename too long?

try shortening it.

X:/PSP/GAME/Tenchu_SA/eboot.pbp

u could also try running 1.5 kernel

Tried shortening it to just "Tenchu" and tried the 1.50 kernel already. Still nothing.
