help plz i just downloaded the noob upgrade patch of 3.40 oe-a but it wont work on my 3.03oe-c version? do i need to go back to 1.5 to use this and be able to switch to 3.40 oe-a? cuz i recently downloaded some games and ppl said the the solution is to upgrade to 3.40 oe. how can i restore my 3.03 oe-c to 1.5 so that i can upgrade to 3.40oe?

Google "1.50 Recovery Winstaller". Download and run the program with your PSP in USB Mode. When it runs, direct it to the PSP drive and let it install. Go into Recovery Mode (Hard boot while holding R-Trigger) and scroll down to Recovery. Now, install 3.40 OE-A as instructed. HOWEVER, I would recomend 3.52 M33-4. With the release of update #4, it rivals the stability of 3.40 OE-A, with a guarenteed every game is compatible, with a **** load of extras: Sony's isocache.bin *the file that lets you play ISO games without a UMD in drive), access to flash0,1,2,3 directly from the XMB and more.

ok so ur saying that i should switch to 5.52 instead? i tot 3.40 was already stable and everything?
anyways just finished upgrading to 3.40 and all games ive downloaded works fine so ill just upgrade when i encounter games that cant be run by 3.40 oe.
