Hi, i have created a pandoras battery and put all the files onto the memorystick, but when i press 'x' to downgrade my bricked PSP it says

'Extracting special pxr's from pbp...'

Then it either turns off completley, or a screen flashes so fast i cant see what it says, or it goes back to the pandora home screen.

Has anyone else had this problem, or if you know how to solve it??
thanks

It sounds like you skipped a critical step in installing. A common mistake is people think that if they just deep format the memory stick in Windows, that will do it. You must format it logically, which is a different method than what Windows utilizes. Also, try installing it the real way, none of that EASY crap. Follow the steps. When it says to run .....exe, you must use basic DOS commands in Windows (if XP) DOS emulator. put all the exe files in C: of your HDD. Then go into DOS and type "c:\". then type the name of the exe file with "/?" at the end and it will tell you the parameters that you can run it.

There is no excuse NOT to mod! Don't follow the rules, make them!

why not try to upgrade it to a newer firmware, close it when it starts then recover the psp and voila!you have psp 1.5.just download the 1.5 installer to get the full version of 1.5 then upgrade to custom...

OMG i don't belive it!! it was my psp own fault!!!

The R trigger has a problem and gets stuck, so every time it went into the screen,it pressed the R trigger cancelling the downgrade!!

Sorry to everyone who helped and thank you very much!!
