So I ripped a movie to a new hard drive I got the western digital 500gb external however it wasnt setup for large file formats. When I ripped the movie decrypter made two files moviename.I00 and moviename.I01 about 50% each file. How do I recombine these file names shrink cannot deal with them I can read them with decrypter alright but I dont want to burn them as a 8.5gb DL disk. Any thoughts?

Did it not also create an .mds file?
I thought with Fat32, that you could run DVD Shrink >File > Open Disc Image and select the .mds file.

Ok I see your point. Argh, hey you ever try using the quick format (for hard drives) Since the western digital my book (500gb+) isnt windows xp/vista compatible and must be reformated which takes 12 hours anyone have success with the quick format? Which probably only takes 1 minute?

If you mean converting from Fat32 to NTFS, the link refers to XP, I presume that Vista is the same.

I was shocked to learn from western digital that they want their drive(s) the my book to be 100% compatible with all computers mac included thus they dint use the large file format used for xp and vista. I say this as a warning YOU MUST FORMAT THE DRIVE BEFORE USING IT if you want to copy large files like movies.
