So my DVD drive (samsung) broke the other week. I've read up on MS' extended warranty and related experiences and decided not to put up with that bullshit. Well, that and Halo3 comes out soon. Anyway I've been searching for a replacement laser and unfortunately there is almost no information pertaining to that. The only laser I've found is this "SF-HD63" which I can find almost no information on. I'm not sure if its compatible with the samsung drive. Any suggestions?

Have you checked ebay? I'm having a "unreadable disk" problem. Thats where I'll be most likely getting mine.

What part number is on your laser now? There's 63 and 67's on eBay.
