Upgrade from 3.03OE-C to what (because ISOs won't play)?

Okay, so yesterday I did 2.71 -> 1.5 -> 3.03OE-C. Needless to say I was very excited because all I used was win-installers.

But now both of the ISOs I downloaded won't start on my psp, I get an error message saying "The game could not be started. (80020148)"

Maybe it is because I didn't format my memory stick after the upgrade?
People are telling me it must be because my firmware isn't high enough to run the game.

So what do I need to do now to upgrade to the highest custom firmware?

80020148: PRX type unsupported

so yes, you need to update to higher CFW
i would recommend 3.52 M33-4, since there are a few games now out/coming out that require >3.40FW (otherwise i would recommend 3.40OE-A)

I'm thinking I can do this to downgrade back to 1.50:

I'm back at 1.5 FW now, I want to upgrade to 3.52 M33 CFW and I have the win-installer:

1. Do I have to copy the patcher and run it b4 I attempt to run the 3.52 M33 CFW update?

2. Would it be better to upgrade back to 3.03OE-C CFW and then upgrade to 3.52 M33 CFW?

Basically I need a guide that tells me how to use the 3.52 M33 Win-Installer when on a 1.5 FW or 3.03OE-C CFW PSP.

3. Can you still downgrade back to 1.5 FW on 3.52 M33 CFW?

bumping is against afterdawn rules


you dont need to recover to 1.50 to upgrade to 3.52m33-4 you can upgrade directly if you have 3.03oe-c

Which way is better?

3.03OE-C -> 1.5 -> 3.52 M33

or

1.5 -> 3.03OE-C -> 3.52 M33
