hi....i wasted 3 verbatims trying to burn 3 games. The first was oblivion(when i downloaded the backup it said it was prepatched so i just burnt it with cloneCD at 2-2X)and when i put it in my 360 it says "unplayable disc", next time i burn harry potter 5 and i made a stealth check and it passed with "video questionable","dmi, pfi,ss present", and now it says i need to put it in a 360 console (same with DiRT), i don't think it's my lazer because i have an original game(PGR3) and it works and i also downloaded a demo, burnt it and worked just fine.So i checked my dvd burner but it doesn't have bitsetting support could that be the problem....if not what is????

are you sure you have the layer break correct? i would burn with ImgBurn if i were you, it works perfectly. CloneCD is only really recommended for backing up copies

what region is your console? because i'm not entirely sure you can play imports on a 360 (that is probably a very ignorant statement, but i haven't explored import games).
to me, it sounds like you're making good burns, just that you're having either region issues, or your chip isn't updated maybe

i bought my 360 in a shop in my city which is in europe so that means that my system is PAL.when i checked information about the iso with XDVDMULLETER DiRT was region free, PAL,NTSC...all were marked same thing with harry potter 5....do you have to set the iso to PAL...if so how?
i looked at the properties at my dvd burner and saw DVD region and then i selected my own country but now i have 4 tries left...how does it work you set the region of your dvd as the region of the game??

well, if the game is region free, then it doesn't matter what region your 360 or your burner is. so, i'm guessing that your mod chip isn't up to date.

You said the video is questionable,so open up XDVDMulleter and load up your iso.Hit the video tab and click on insert video, your iso's should now work

i'm pretty sure you can flash it somehow, but i'm not sure. or you could replace it, or you could do an easy firmware mod.

You said your 360 is chipped, If you have an NME 1.1,1.2, or the Xeno chip you have to convert the image to NME format with the NME aSSociat0r. hopefully this helps

for the chip you have heres the info
Low wire count, 4 wires.
One chip for Toshiba-Samsung drive.
Auto boot NME360 type backups.
Auto boot backups that is in dual format (xtreme/NME360).
Auto boot original games.
Mod360 will disable patching if an original game is detected. (perfect for xbox live)
This is region specific. However, some games are region free
you need nme back ups so if your not using a sammy drive flashed with kreon and making it nme back up then the game you downloading are not nme back ups thats why they wont work so you have to either convert them with a nme converter if theres one or back em up on your comp as nme any other way wont work for you unless you take out the chip and just firmware flash the drive

i used nme associator to convert DiRT(region free) but it says the same thing to put it in a xbox 360 console it's not my laser because my original game works fine i think its my DVD burner link:http://www.p4c.philips.com/files/s/spd2411bd_00/spd2411bd_00_pss_eng.pdf
if it isn't my dvd burner then what is im so angry with this everytime i try to burn i put it in the console then the message appears...i checked the game with XDVDMULLETER and it said it's iXTREME Compatible even if i converted it to NME i burnt it with imgburn at 2x and selected the .dvd file and went to settings and set that layerbreak and wrote that number that appears on every .dvd now i don't know what to do anymore help please....

have you considered the possibility of a bad chip? maybe you can return it and do a cheap firmware mod. but other than that, the only other thing i can think of would be if you have an external dvd burner. that affects it sometimes.

no it's an internal rewriter, but how can the chip be bad because i burnt a demo(medal of honor airborne) on a normal dvd and it worked...i don't think it's my chip because if it was then i couldn't play that demo right??my dvd burner doesn't support bitsetting can that be the problem??

dont know about having the chip whether u need to set the layer break you might do though
also are you in the uk or america
if a game doesnt work only because it isnt region free when you pop in the game it will state it is wrong region code
ok have a look at the list of games you tried to burn and see if they actually are region free there should be a list if you google it and see if the games you have are region free if not then thats why they aint working if they are then if you can then just get rid of the chip and firmware flash your drive also what drive do you have in your xbox is it hitachi or sammy or ben q

yeah, in ImgBurn there's a place where you can change the booktyping, that should help. it's the little book icon by the write speed option
