Basically it's converting your battery into a special type, and using that with a memory stick to start your PSP up from the battery, and not from the PSP's flash. Thus, allowing you to downgrade your PSP without the firmware blocking unsigned code from running. The problem is you need a PSP with custom firmware to create the battery, but that's easy if you have friends! =D

It means your PSP doesn't turn on, the green power light shows but nothing happens.
