need help changing my PSP 3.03 to custom firmware

I'm a newbie and I need help changing my PSP 3.03 to custom firmware. I tried using the installer and I'm receiving the error "The game could not be started. (8002014C). All I have is my psp and I have downloaded the installer for 3.03 OE-C. and I also want to create a Pandora's battery but getting 3.03 OE-C is more important. I have a shit load of ISO's and can't play them. Any help would be really appreciated!!

@mcryer1: you first need to downgrade your psp to 1.5FW from 3.03, to do this you either need:
1. GTA LCS unpatched, then use 3.03DG - then you can use installers for CFW;
2. Lumines unpatched, then use 3.50DG (after upgrading to 3.50FW) - then you can use installers for CFW;
3. Pandora battery/MStick - use them to DG to 1.5 - then you can use installers for CFW

also if you wish to play newer games/isos you will need a hihger custom firmware than 3.03oe you would be better off with 3.40oe or 3.52m33 they are the two best ones they are almost the same but the 3.52m33 has more features and is the latest one
