my friend has a ta-082 on 3.11 firmware he has the game gta lcs idk if its unpatched but if it is will it work?

Yes, but it won't work on the 3.11 PSP, that needs the Lumines downgrader, unless you plan on using it on another PSP that is at/below 3.03.

ooooo that stinks i would use the pandoras battery but i dont want to use my mem stick and his is only 32 mb and also i dont wanna ruin a battery

You can back up your battery's eeprom code before you convert, so afterwards you can turn it back to a normal battery again.

With the memory card, back up the contents on our computer before you format it, then after you're done with using it as a magic mem stick you can format it again and put your files back on it.

how do i back up the code on the battery???

When you first run the battery making app if you press triangle it will write the code to your memory stick.

After you've done the downgrade, to start your PSP normally with the Pandora battery and mem card, take them both out, plug in a charger and turn it on, then when it's booted, put the mem card and battery back in.

Run the battery making app once more and hold L + R to write the original eeprom code back to the battery to make it "normal" again.

No, when your run the app it will come up with a menu asking it what you want it to do, there ae lots of options, normally you would press X, but press triangle, after it has backed up the code the program will exit, you can then run it again and press X to convert the battery.
