metroid 3 slow down...

ok guys it might sound weird
okok i got metroid prime 3 finnaly working after burning like 10 dvd's!
okok
prior to the 3.0 update i think i have messed with the drive speed reduced to 3X instead of 6X...
now the only reason i am saying this because metroid prime 3 will not work on a dvd burned at a speed higher then 2X! at least for me
and during the game play i am experiencing slow downs... like it take forever for some doors to open!
here is my real problem...
at some point in time in the game i am requiered to screw attack jump to a platform and for some reason samus cannot and i am sure that i have to jump there
do u guys think that changing the speed of my drive back to 6X would affect anything?

For the screw jump think don't repeatedly press B. Like only press it once...then again...and again...and again...and again. Just time the jumps and you should reach it. It's near the grindwork thing right?

And what media are you using? Some doors take a little long to open because the game is actually loading the level. It shouldn't take more than 5 seconds.

correct!
media in use well maxell waork for all the other games fine but is cranky with metroid and i am also using memorex...
all burned at 2X

should i change the speed of the drive back to 6X on my wii???

i have a problem with lag as well and i have an original copy. sometimes when i go to turn and there is like, lightening on the screen or something itll lag and yea the doors quite often take a lil time to open. i have a wiikey but doubt its related to that. could be but dunno.
