Sound problem with 3.40 OE

Okay, so I have my PSP using F/W version 3.40 LE V3, right? And now it won't play any sound through the regular built in PSP speakers, I have to have a pair of headphones constantly connected in order to hear any of the sound. The volume is all the way up, and everything is set right to where there should be sound, but there isn't. Any ideas???

have you tried 3.40oe or 3.52m33 see if the sound works with those if not you may need to get the speaker repaired

Yea, Just after I posted this, I upgraded to 3.52 M33. No such luck. Since the PSP is only 2 weeks old i think i might return it and get a new one and then just get that one the way I like it, but I f'n hate wal-mart, so if you have any other idea what it might be, I'd be appreciative! :o)
