I want to know how to turn my cpu speed down because when I go into a ad-hoc multiplayer game in gta:liberty city stories my psp always loads up too fast. I'm using devhook 0.46 with fw 2.71, so will turning my cpu speed down affect it?

Your CPU speed shouldn't be set above default unless you tell it to, the reason it's loading fast is probably down to it being an ISO (Unless it's the official UMD).

And, just saying, devhook is old now, and outdated, you should downgrad to 1.50, then up to a custom firmware (3.52 M33), they're a lot better.

PSP, all the way from 1.00 to 5.50 GEN D2 - DS Lite w/ M3DS Real (M3 Sakura v1.34)
PS3 3.01 - iPod Touch 2G 16GB Jailbroken - Xbox 360 60GB - PC, Q6600, 3GB DDR2, GTX260 (216) 896MB

My psp fw is 1.5 with devhook 2.71 cw. I would have upgraded my psp but I don't know how, since I my cw was already installed when I brought it.

My iso is ripped from an original one. My cpu speed is at 222mzh/111mzh- is that the default speed?

Because it's an ISO, they load a lot faster than UMDs, like 4-5 seconds cmpared with 20+

Erm... get an english DevHook then? OR change to custom firmware (downgrade with the 2.71 downgrader, then up to 3.52 M33)

No, because it's my friend's psp and he doesn't want to get a new devhook or cw.
Can you just please tell what exact buttons to press to change the default cpu speed and how to get back to loading the iso, as if you were in the english devhook menu? Also could you tell me how to play the original umd when emulating devhook 2.71?
If you can, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks :)

I just noticed that you're at 1.50 :P

Please, phrase things so i understand them, this would be how i would say it:

I'm running a PSP with 1.50 firmware, and using DevHook 0.46 to emulate 2.71 to play games.

Not:

I'm using devhook 0.46 with fw 2.71

Firstly, not many people will know about DevHook any more, i used too, it was a good thing... a YEAR ago. Most people will have forgotten about Devook by now.

So, upgrade to custom firmware, it's loads better than DevHook and it can do more stuff, as well as play every game out, not only games
that are over a year old (2.71)...

wow sicdude. You must really spend a lot of time in afterdawn to notice these things. What a life.

Fist of all if my friend was chinese, why the hell do you think I would ask how to use the devhook chinese menu?

Second, me and my friend have psp's with the SAME firmware. Understand that?

I have only had my psp for like a month and don't want to upgrade to anything because I don't know EVERYTHING about all the cw and stuff.
You still with me?

And so what if I'm lazy? What if I just want to have downtime?, after coming home from work, unlike some people who don't have jobs.
So if you don't post anything useful, just don't post anything at all.
You don't have to get all touchy on me. It's pretty simple.

so is upgrading to a cfw,if you are to lazy then why should others use the time and energy to help you you were advised to just get an english devhook or a custom firmware but you didn't want to do that you expect ppl to help you translate the chinese devhook for you when it would of been quicker to just get an english one(but i guess you are just to lazy lol)and i don't spend alot of time on afterdawn the reason i noticed all that was i read your other thread before this one, like shokz said not many ppl use devhook now because it is outdated just upgrade to a custom firmware trust me you will be glad you did

Well if you read my last post and that's how you feel-
DON'T POST ANYTHING AT ALL THEN IF IT'S NOT USEFUL.
Look, i just thought someone could help me with this problem because I'm pretty new into this stuff. I'm sorry if i caused any confusion but it's just a forum for god's sake and you don't have to get angry over nothing.
