So, you mean to say you now have no flash0? It's kind of a full brick then :P

You can recover it using a Pandora battery though.

have flash zero but no folders inside,check this out,was wondering if it applies to my scenario, the guy said there was no need to have the xtra psp just load the mem card and wallla

Yea, that's a Pandora battery, if you have access (Through a friend etc) to another 1.50/CFW psp then it will be cheaper to make your own (Considering you can convert the battery and mem stick back to normal afterwards).

lets say i dont know anyone YET,but this will work, by itself, what about the missing flash0 files i still have them on my pc.it seems that those the operating system files w/o them i goes nowhere.

kind of like playing a xbox game w/o the default.xbe right?

Well i don't really know about xbox, so i'll say it's like a pc without an OS.

The Pandora battery will unbrick the PSP on it's own... like a windows/linux installer disk :) it rewrites the flash files from the memory stick back onto the PSP to get it working again. So you won't need your backup, but obviously keep it in case you ever get a semi-brick.

recovered from brick that batt trick is cool..the only thing is i went from 1.5 to3.40 da again and i cant get the same games to play, u think a bad install, i am from trying it againfrom scratch .

should i recopy the flash0 folder that was originally on the psp.

All psp games are "region free", as in games from any region will work on any PSP. Only UMD movies are set to a specific region.
