It means Demilitarized zone and what it does is open all the ports on your router (i think).

This is from 1up regarding update issues with warhawk
http://www.1up.com/do/newsStory?cId=3162409
Gamers who decided to fly the unfriendly skies yesterday during Warhawk's launch probably ran into an issue where the game would award medals for achieving certain objectives, but these weren't reflected in player's profiles for several hours after the fact. Warhawk Game Director Dylan Jobe addressed this issue in his first blog since the game launched and said the delays are to be expected as the game rolls out worldwide.
"First off...apologies for this, it's never good to have a medal that you fought for not be credited to your player! That said, we should all expect some occasional and isolated stats interruptions this week as we bring all the players from the US and Europe online...both for the PlayStation Store version and for the Blu-ray version," said Jobe. "We'll keep these interruptions to an absolute minimum as we would rather not drowned in a tsunami of hate mail."
Additionally, Jobe is already fielding feedback from users about what kind of server types Sony Computer Entertainment America should be maintaining and said they're investigating increasing point limits on games to make matches last longer for players wanting longer dogfights.

there's probably some truth to that.
but i think it's more the development thats causing a few problems.
and btw, dont you guys think we should have only one warhawk thread?

update, I was able to play several games by using the ps2 headsets instead of the bluetooth headsets and also by using the controller wired.
so it could just be a bluetooth problem, but I could be wrong

why did the title get changed? this seemed to be a general warhawk thread. wtf.
But they all do sort of the same thing, and that is rearrange what you thought was real, and they remind you of the beauty of very simple things. You forget, because youre so busy going from a to z, that theres 24 letters in between... You turn on... tune in... and you drop out...

True, oh so true. I made this thread days ago to warn people about it before they logged on as a way of softening the blow. I don't see much point in it now.
