should i use:
fedora
ubunta
whats the difference because all i want to do is still play games and install stuff like msn messenger.that would be great thanks :)

ermmm i personly would say fedora, go on youtube and av a look coz theres a video on there on fedora but i duno about the other 1

how do you get internet to work on fedora core.can anyone help?

it doesnt recognize router or anything.i need the most basic guide.

If I was to load Yellow Dog, will I get any home benifits as far as file and folder sharing and brrousing shared drives on my network, or reading word docs and apps?

Hey im using ubuntu. It is best viewed with an HDMI cable, as compoent and composite give crappy resolution and refresh rate.
In terms of it being a computer, its just as good. I can connect to my home networ kand access files form my computer, use msn, play dvds. Only issues, game support is limited, you can play roms though, not computer games unfortunately, And no support for flash and java yet..
A new version of ubuntu is coming out thursady, i wonder if itll increase ps3 support..
