Hi,

Im thinking of returning my Xbox 360 premium because the damn disc drive keeps sticking! There is nothing in the way, and i even remove the faceplate but nothing. Just gets jammed and takes around 5-10minutes to eventually open!

However what are the chances i will get a non-modifiable drive back? Or will the most likely option be that microsoft will just repair it and send it back? Would like to flash with ixtreme so are there even any drives where there isnt an ixtreme firmware?

i just started getting the same problem. mine is modded so ill just find a way to fix it maybe oil it up a bit.

Arghh i've been told I may have to wait 25working days!!
It isnt that much of a problem for now, so il just wait. Annoying little problem though.

BTW How does the warranty work?
If I return the console to fix this problem, will Microsoft will still uphold thier 3 year warranty against 3 red lights?

Also if i return the console for the 3 red light problem, but the red lights reappear within 3 years of the original purchase, will microsoft repair the console again?
