Do you have the WiFi switch on?
Check and make sure that the switch is in the up position. The switch is on the left hand side toward the bottom. (By the WiFi light)

k i got the light to work... it just started working?! anyway since i moved up to m33-4 i get the blue screen of death (read above) still. i know this is the firmwares fault, is their a fix? also where can i get the guide that describes in detail all the functions in the firmware settings screen ( when you hold down R b4 the psp boots)

Its funny how things that don't work for people on 3.52 M33-4 ends up being the firmwares fault.
I have no issues with the browser or WiFi and 1000s of others have no issues either so I would tend to think its more in the lines of operators error not the firmware.
HERE is an overview of Recovery settings.(It says 3.03OE-C/3.40OE-A Recovery Menu Guide but M33 is pretty much the same settings)

man look i get it, i am a noob but try not to be so bitchy with your response. but thanks for config guide. i figured it had to be the firmware as it worked just b4 i upgraded, would a reflash with the same firmware work? i used an easy installer

Im not being bitchy.
But half the reason most say they won't go to M33 is due to the bugs in it. Which are from post like yours that blame the CFW on the problem.
I hate easy installers to many things can go wrong. It isn't that hard to update a firmware without the easy installer.
I doubt reflashing it with the update will fix the issue.
I sent you a PM.

Try reflashing what do you have to lose, this time thou do it without easy installer. just like larry said to many things can go wrong with those things. i did it with Dark Alex's fw and it f it up. actualy i found it to be easer just following the read me.
like i said give it a go.

I helped him recover to 1.50 then helped upgrade him back to 3.52 M33 then 3.52 M33-4 and it solved his issue.

if it wasn;t that
i'd ask if he droped it at all
the older PSP tend to have a very small
small
small thin
extention connector for the wifi switch.
which is retarded...and yeah
i dropped mine about.. err say a year ago now
and my wifi was gone
but i find it odd that m33 keeps having wifi problems.
he had the exact same thing as me with the BLOD and freezing
again i updated to -4 and that solved my issues
but yeah...don't drop ur psp :)
it causes wifi cable to be broken..as its foolishly made.
PSP -> 2.60 TA-082 + 2.71 - 1.5 + 3.03 OE-A + OE-B + OE-C + 3.52 M33 - 3.40 OE-A + 3.52 M33-4 + 3.71 M33-4 + 4.01 M33-2 w/ 1.50 k = dropped 1ft and lost my PSP permanently
