I was thinking if I should get the Datel TOOL Battery. It says it can get the PSP into service mode for custom firmware use. I don't see anywhere on their site which says How TO put it in custom firmware. It also says the Tool functionality is hard coded into the battery.
Does this mean this I dont need the Memory Stick like Pandoras?
I want to know abt this before I buy it.
PS It would also be helpful if some posted a review abt the Tool battery if they have it.
i do not know about that! seems a little fishy if you know what i mean! if you do not need it bad then i would wait until you can find out more about it. what do you really need it for anyways? Pandora's battery works fine....
but what i think,,, i think you should wait till you find out more information about it.
try looking Here for more information ;)
thats where i like to go if i need answers :P
Yes I know the pandoras battery works, but the thing is you need another psp with custom firmware. What good is that?
I don't think datel is lying abt the product but maybe about the functionality of it.
I'll just wait for a downgrader or if I get some good info abt the datel battery then I guess I'll buy it.

Or you could buy one off ebay for £30? (Pandora battery and mem stick that is)
PSP, all the way from 1.00 to 5.50 GEN D2 - DS Lite w/ M3DS Real (M3 Sakura v1.34)
PS3 3.01 - iPod Touch 2G 16GB Jailbroken - Xbox 360 60GB - PC, Q6600, 3GB DDR2, GTX260 (216) 896MB
I know I can but there is only one up for sale on ebay and it is 76.00 USD right now. 25.00 and 76.00 is a big difference, but i know for sure that the pandora battery works but its too much right now.
I'm waiting to see if someone bought the datel tool and wrote a review or sumthing.
Thanks
I'm going to try this out soon, just need a 256mb Pro Duo card and the Tool Battery first, the Pro Duo card reader is on it's way. Will edit with results.
EDIT: Forgot to mention, I will be using Pandora's Easy Installer to make the Magic Memory Stick.
