hi. i was just wondering how to go about flashing my 360 with iextreme. i have no idea where to even start with this as i got my 360 preflashed with watever is on it. i was jst wondering wot id need to do it etc. or if id be better off findin somewher that cud do it. Appreciate any help on this mater. Cheers.

soz im a bit of a noob wen it comes to this flash stuff and duno which parts i actually have to pay attention to on the tutorial... is it bsaically - find out wot drive it is
- get the appropriate SATA cable
- download the approprate software (in my case iextreme1.2)
- flash it on from pc to 360 using whatever way the tutorial says for the drive you use.

I know how to burn the games etc using clonecd coz iv been doin that with the firmware i have. But i dont have a backup of this firmware as it was done by previous owner.

Any help again would be appreciated.

what you say is on the money, find out what drive you have and go from there.
you can update to ixtreme with out the orig. firmare, just flash as normal but you van get your orig key from the flashed firmare and it is a good idea to do so just in case of bad flash or dvd drive problems.
to do that use 360fw toolbox.

go to 360mods.com and dl the "textbook" guide.

You'll need to download the program Iprep.
