ive got a psp and a wifi network at my home and i restored all of the default settings on it so i lost the wep key to my own wifi do u know how to figure it out and whatnot

look on the bottom of your router, it should be there on the sticker.

Wouldn't resetting the default settings disable the WEP/WPA Security?

I know on mine it does.

I then have to go back in and enter the passkey.

In your case make a new WEP password that you can remember and write down. Just don't leave it on the computer.

Is the WiFi access point a wireless router? If so you can also connect to your router via network cable and go into the router settings and change it that way.

OR You could use Cain&Able to force your router into ungodly clear txt submission. MWHAHAHAHAHA.

Check if there's a reset button on the router to get it back the original settings. Then set it up like you would normally do.
