How do i uppgrade my PSP from my existing firmware 3.03 oe-c to 3.52 M33-4?
Got some games that requires a higher firmware and I have heard that the 3.52 M33-4 should be better than 3.40 oe-c. I guess i have to downgrade my PSP first or something, but how do i do that?

You don't have to downgrade, you can go straight up to 3.52 M33

Here you can find the 3.52 M33 update files.

You will also need the 1.50 EBOOT and 3.52 EBOOT files. You can get these here and here.

Ignore the instructions on the Sony website, just get the file from "Download procedure" step 3.

You will have to extract the 1.50 EBOOT file, but the 3.52 file is already extracted. Name the 1.50 EBOOT to 150.PBP and the 3.52 EBOOT to 352.PBP.

Now take the M33CREATOR folder and place it on your PSP at this location: ms0:/PSP/GAME150/

Now place both the 150.PBP and 352.PBP files into the M33CREATOR folder on your PSP.

You can now disconnect your PSP from your computer and run the update. After it has finished it will have created another icon on your PSP, run this, after that has finished you will have firmware 3.52 M33.

Make sure your battery charge is above 75% and/or has a charger plugged in before you do the update.

PSP, all the way from 1.00 to 5.50 GEN D2 - DS Lite w/ M3DS Real (M3 Sakura v1.34)
PS3 3.01 - iPod Touch 2G 16GB Jailbroken - Xbox 360 60GB - PC, Q6600, 3GB DDR2, GTX260 (216) 896MB

It's best to delete the update folders through the PC, as you might get files left otherwise.

@lancerx

no need to worry about the seplugins stuff if your not running PSX games on your PSP with popsloader plugin. The only stuff you actually need for the update is the PSP folder inside the update.

Drag it to the root of your MS. It will ask to overwrite choose yes to all (All your doing is replacing the PSP folder in the update with the PSP folder on the root of your MS)

When your done doing that go to Game Menu and run the update.

I have heard of othere having the same issue. Just change the m33update4 folder to the GAME folder.

ms0:/PSP/GAME/m33update4/EBOOT.PBP

It should show up then.

GAME303?

it should be GAME352 if your at 3.52 M33 CFW.

Try formating your MS.

@skyda

If you went to the PSP site to downloaded the 3.52 firmware then you actually downloaded the 3.71 firmware which is the most current and will not work for 3.52 M33 CFW.

Download the 3.52 firmware HERE and rename it to 352.PBP and replace it with the other 352.PBP file that isnt working.
