Shouldn't have a problem then...

Try and find the "Pandora GUI" to write the files to the MS, i've used that before so i know it works fine.

To ponchoyo:

I'm having the exact issue you're having.

I'm in the midst of downloading 3.52 m-33 and I'm stuck on your issue as well.

Loading 1.50 fireware ... OK
Writing 1.50 Fireware ... OK
Loading 3.52 fireware ... OK
Writing 3.52 fireware ...

Its been this way for 10+ minutes... I thought I had bricked it. I turned it completely off, and thank God it didn't.

Tried it again... same thing... what is the issue with this?

Someone please help us!!!

Sometimes it can take a while on the Writing 3.52 firmware. Just keep it going till its finished. I have no idea why this happens to some but it does and if you leave it running it will finish sooner or later.

Hey guys - it finally worked overnight. Thanks!

Now, I have everything complete. All steps done exactly as described.

Now that I have 3.52 M33-4 firmware installed, I can play UMDs! However... I now can't play my emulators that were on there. ??? I thought this custom software was designed to let you use homebrew in addition to using all the 3.52 (originaly Sony firmware) features?

Perhaps I just need to slightly tweek something before I can use my homebrew applications (emulators).

Can anyone help!!! Please!!!

I'm almost there!

Where do you have the Emulators at?

If you have the emulators in the /PSP/GAME folder change them to the /PSP/GAME150 folder.

If you have no GAME150 folder then backup all files you have on your Memory Stick and format the memory Stick via system settings. This will create all folder directories that is needed. Now copy the backup files back to the memory stick placing the Emulators in the /PSP/GAME150 folder.

If you have them in the game folder and don't want to place them in the /PSP/GAME150 folder then you will need to go into recovery menu and change the GAME folder kernel from 3.52 to 1.50 kernel.

I suggest keeping the GAME folder kernel at 3.52 and just placing 1.50 kernel base homebrew in the /PSP/GAME150 folder. Then place homebrew kernel requiring 2.XX or higher in the GAME folder set at 3.52 kernel.

Great advise - thanks ... going into the Recovery Menu, I can change the format while here at work. When I get home, I will create the GAME150 folder.

This happens for some. Let it run and it will finish sooner or later.

I did try to update 3.52 before i installed it. Now i can´t run kxploitpatcher. The error text is: "can´t apply to this firmware", even though i have 1.5. What can I do?

You don't need to run kxploit patcher on the 3.03 OE firmware.

Just use the M33CREATOR to create the 3.52 M33 update and apply.

Or go HERE and downgrade the 3.03 OE back to 1.50 then use the kxploit patcher and then run the M33CREATOR.

kxploit patcher only needs to be run when at 1.50 firmware not 3.03 OE.

You will need to go from 3.03 OE to 3.52 M33 to 3.52 M33-4 to 3.71 M33 to 3.71 M33-4 if you do it manually.

You can skip all that stuff if you use this guide HERE and create a Pandora Battery + Magic Memory Stick. This will install straight to 3.71 M33-2 and the 3.71 M33-4 update is on the memory stick for you to update to. That simple.

Hey larrylje thanks for the fast reply man. I'll try to upgrade my 3.03 OE > 3.52 M33 > 3.52 M33-4 > 3.71 M33 > 3.71 M33-4. Hope it will work perfectly :)

He was talking about on his actual PSP's XMB. but yes, have you placed the correct folders in GAME150 on your MS?
