Karaoke Revolution will not use Mic (HDLoader & MC Exploit)

Hi, I have been trying to play karaoke revolution off of my HDLoader, but it will not use the microphone at all. I've been trying to find a solution, but I only can find people saying "the game works." Is there something possibly to do with the MC exploit or the loader that I use? or incompatable drivers or something? For reference, I'm using the Konami mic, and a japanese Karaoke Revolution game.
