I have mario kart for the gamecube its ntsc i have tried playing this in my pal wii but it will not work jus a black screen. and do i have to have the gamecube controller plugged in when i boot the wii up?

Do you hear the game sounds, but no image?

If so...Have your gamecube controller plugged in, and hit the B button (on the GC controller) when the black screen comes up.

some gc games just don't work out of region. I have had some PAL games that give a black screenm with sound on my NTSC wii, and I have been able to get them to start by holding B on the gamecube controller as it is booting. Other than that I can't help.

Im sure there are, but your modchip should preform the same function assuming you have it region free turned on...

Try booting a GCOS disc and select "Boot DVD". Eject the GCOS disc and put in your game. It'll load and give you video options.

This works great for Naruto GNT 4 on a NTSC-U Wii with Wiikey 1.9b leaked firmware.
