hey,can someone tell me why is it that when i upgraded from fw 1.50 to 3.03 oe-c that i got portable tv on my psp if it isn't a chinese psp. what do i do?

Just leave it... sometimes that happens, you use the Japanese eboot?

where can i get the american one. cuz the japanese one uses the circle as the "x" button instead and its confusing. please give me the links for the american eboot.

Then switch it over in Recovery mode (there's an option)

You could probably get it on dl.qj.net, but why don't you just upgrade to 3.52 M33?

because i've heard that its a little shaky and that it might brick my psp. i know already about the pandora battery but i dont hava a spare ms or battery.

It USED to be a "little shakey" but it's fine, on par with OE at any rate, upgrade to 3.52 M33, then 3.52 M33-4, and you should have no problems with it.
Of course it can brick your PSP, anything to do with flash can brick it, but 3.52 M33 is very safe to upgrade to.

Yea, use the 1.50 recovery files, i'll upload them to sendspace if you want them.

hey thanks for all the help. oh do you know if the new fw 3.71 wil work on the non-lite psp. is there a cfw for this new fw. one last question.... when dumping and iso will the umd still have the game in it or will it be an empy spaced umd?

Yes 3.71 M33 will be for the Fat PSP, but it's not out, nor actually confirmed yet.
When you dump a UMD it is just making a copy of the disk, the info on the disk still remains, and you can't write over it either.

Nothing wrong with it, just that i'm fine using torrents.
Since you don't know what torrents are, i'll give you the whole story.
A while ago someone thought it would be a great idea to have data not on central servers, but on individual people's computers, having the server as only a "connection sevice" and the actual data just going from computer to computer, this was good because then the servers don't have to host any of the files, so they don't take up any space, and if a server goes down, the data is not lost. The "person to person" file sharing is what we call P2P.
This also cuts all legality from the torrent sites (servers), as if there is an illegal file on it (eg: an ISO) they can't be prosecuted, as they themselves dont have the data, it's just other people's computers that have the data and are sharing it.
The only thing a torrent is, is the information to tell your computer where to get the file from. It contains info for what are called "trackers", these are things that track all the people that have the whole file you want (or at least part of it), and share that information with your computer, so it can directly connect to the computers that have the file, and "ask" for it.
This is where a P2P program steps in, this is the thing that reads the data from the trackers, and automaticaly seeks connections from the other computers, so it downloads the file automatically, it sounds more complicated than it is.
All you have to do, is download utorrent (this is a P2P program), find a file you want on a torrent website, and open it, utorrent will recognise the file, allocate the space on your hard-drive and download the file for you, you don't need to do anything else.

Keep them as CSO, they're better than ISOs as they take up less space, and they just go in your "ISO" folder like usual.

so i just download the cso and place them in a folder named Iso right? is there anything else i have to do? where do i make the iso folder?
