PS2 is not playing BACKUP DVD's

I have it updated to v 1.46 or seomthing like that.

Okay, so the PS2 is a version 12. Installation was successful and it has been playing every backup game for the past 2 months. Now, it's not even reading those discs and identifies them as "DVD Movies" instead of "Playstation 2 Disc" in the browser menu. At first I thought there was something wrong with my laser, but when I tried a real DVD movie, it worked flawlessly. But not the games. I tried a backup game again, but this time it said that the disc could not be read. I've tried 3 different kinds of media too (Memorex, Maxell, and TDK) and burnt every game at 4x speed.

I have no idea why it suddenly stopped reading my backup DVDs.... help :cry:

Maybe it's the disc's you are using. All three of those brands are horrible for the ps2. You should stick with quality stuff. Like taiyo yuden, verbatim, sony's.

Burn @ 1-2x. That's all I can say atm.

Yes, these backups worked 100% perfect. I keep getting that "DVD-Video" that i_am_alex said... I'll try burning at slower speeds, but I doubt that's gonna work...
