hello I have had my wiikey in for a couple months now and everything was going fine. I could play backed up wii games and gc games. I had no known problems. Suddenly my wii isnt able to play any type of wii games backed up or even original wii games. But it is able to play gamecube games. Has anyone else run into this problem. Does anyone know the solution to this. Could it be my actual wii or is it the wiikey causing the problem. Worse case scenario would I have to replace the dvd drive. Please Help.

Try removing the modchip and see if your originals will boot.

sorry I took so long. I tried removig the wiikey and it is still only playing gamecube games. Do you know if there is something that can do like a system restore or something like that. I just think its weird that one day it just stopped working. what other options do I have.

That's very strage if you haven't updated anything, have you tried the config disc seeing as it is a GC disc?
