well if we download the EBOOT for the 3.70 FW and put that file in the m33 creator as 370.PBP and also have the 150.pbp and run the creator will it give us a 3.70 M33??

Most probubly not! I didnt no about fw3.70 untill i read this, but its probubly a good idea if you dont try it, untill there is news from the hacker teams conferming that it works.

My psp life: TA-079-fw1.5 -> fw2.0 -> fw2.60 -> fw 2.71 -> fw2.80 -> fw3.00 -> fw3.03 -> fw3.11 -> fw3.50 -> fw1.5 -> 3.40OE-A ->fw1.5 -> 3.03OE-C [to try out the gta cheat device] :)(got bored) -> fw1.5 ->3.40OE-A -> cfw3.52M33-4 -> cfw3.71M33-2(got unstable) -> fw1.50 -> cfw3.40oe-a -> 3.52-M33-3 -> 3.80-M33 -> 3.90-M33

it won't work, simply to the fact it's probably configured (the setup or install file) then the previous one, otherwise everytime there was a new firmware we could do it the way you mentioned, it's a little more detailed then point and click.

Yea, think about it, there had to be a new CFW between 3.51 and 3.52, do you really think a jump to 3.70 would work just like that?

The kernels are designed differently between Firmwares. A custom Firmware runs 3.xx, but can emulate 1.50. The installer for the CFM is specific to the 3.xx kernel. If you try and do that, you'd semi-brick your PSP. The flash files are all designed around 3.52 not 3.70. Relax, it took M33 5 days to crack 3.60 PSP2000. Wait until the end of the month! They'll release 3.60 M33-3 and 3.70 M33 by then at their speed!

There is no excuse NOT to mod! Don't follow the rules, make them!

I read a while back that the firmwares for PSP SLIM are gonna be even numbers and the firmware for PSP FAT are gonna be ODD numbers. So that could be the reason for such a big jump in version numbers.

Yea, it seems like that's going to be true:

3.60 - Slim

3.70 - Fat

3.80 - Slim?

the installer looks specifically for 352.pbp. It then opens it and makes sure all the files it needs are where they need to be. Thats the "verifying file" on the install screen.

so it wont even get past the file check. So it should not brick, it will just call you an idiot for trying, then boot you back to 3.52 m33

What do you have on yours that keeps you interested? I dont have a small attention span but playin games gets boring. Emulators get boring, bricking psps then restoring them gets boring.

idk if you would count homebrew games as games.. well ok they are but a game that is awesome and you should look up is tekken.. Ohh and i also use it as a mp3 player(i sold my shuffle and (dont feel like bringing my zune and psp everywhere i go) a video player and homebrew the basic functions are pretty sweet. psp has to be the best system so far(not on gaming(on portablity and flexability))

cant wait to get a slim :D
