Hey people, first Ide like to thank the people who will help me beforehand (if there are any >__< )

So yeah this is my problem:

Yesterday ive gotten my wiikey professionally installed, and at the shop it worked fine(originals play too).
this is my problem at home:
I try any of my back-ups and they dont seem to work, ive read that I need to change the bitsetting when I burn the DVDs but that didnt seem to change (or im doing it wrong) Im using Imgburn btw.

Ive allso heard that it could be the type of disk im using.
Im using DVD+R Maxell disks and im burning at 4X the speed on my LG GSA-4167B DVD WRITER.

What would you guys reccommand would be the right disk for me to burn back-ups onto?
and what settings should i burn them with?

Allso on a sidenote, everytime i insert it disk it makes a wierd clicking noise, then i get a DRE. when i insert a disk that was burnt at the shop, it makes 1 noise, then works. what does this mean?

what kind of discs are the ones that worked at the shop?

I only use Sony DVD-R's. I hate DVD+R's. I don't use them for any of the burning that I do for any system or movie.

Ha, I actually have only used DVD+r's from verbatim. I would highly recommend using verbatim dvd's because everyone always has ranked them as producing the best quality disks to burn to, and that is most likely your issue. But definitely post up what type of discs the shop has used for their backups.

Verbatim DVD-R AZO+ 16x (43548) use Taiyo Yuden TYG03 dye. Probably the best disks money can buy.
