Screwy analog stick.

I needed to replace the D-pad on my PSP. After I fixed it and put it back together, the analog stick is off. It still works cause I can push it in the opposite direction and it will change. Is there a way to recenter it?

Something happened when you opened it. Maybe some material from the D-pad replacement is touching something it shouldn't or something.

1- the jostick thing has metal cover wich holds itself on two sides, the side next to the d-pad it's touching it. what u need to do is make sure that doesn;t happen and push it back :)

2- probably u screwed up the jostick it' hard to close so if you open it don't opene every piece only the first ones an make sure the partes are fine it doesn't matter wich goes first the gray or thw white for x or y the thing is that everything is fine when u close it's pretty simple just check man

i know i already changed 4 jostick to my psp i think i play too much ... eh still have a life tought ;)

hello guys i am having trouble with my psp analog stick during any game the character moves in right side sometime left side even if i leave the psp by not touching it the same problem. i opened up the psp and removed the plastic rubber with gold pins which is atached on the motherboard still the character moves in one direction and when i try to move the character with the analog stick it wont move. i am pissing off all the day. please help me

Tighten the screw next to the analog tighter... Do that and see if it works...

i have tighten the screw but the analog wont work 100% for example if i play vice city stories when i hold the analog stick upward the character just walks he will not run + x button and in car games the car does take up speed cause when the analog is forcing downwards and i am pushing the analog upward or x button the car moves in 50% speed. the problem is in the motherboard please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
