it appears i need a new burner

the pioneer DVR-112D has been recommended and i've found someone that cases it up and runs it via USB which is needed as i've got a laptop

however, i was looking for alternative suggestions .. anyone got one for me please? primary aim is for xbox 360 games

I know a lot of people recommend that drive, but I don't have it. I just have a benq burner (which actually works best for burning backups ironically) and a samsung burner. They were both internal drives, and I just bought drive enclosure to make them external drives from newegg. Since then they have worked perfectly, just as if they were still in my desktop, and I have no problems. So I know people do recommend that pioneer, but I have had mine work fine with nothing done to the drives except make them external.
