Put that in /PSP/GAME/ and use it from recovery.
But, to play a demo, just put it in /PSP/GAME352/ and play it/

I agree with sphynx630 you should keep your CFW. There has to be a reason why the stuff isnt working. We can try our best to figure out what the problem is. With a little more info we should be able to help.

Is Socom US Navy Seals Fireteam Bravo 2 a UMD or an ISO/CSO your trying to play on 3.52 M33?

If it is an ISO/CSO you should place it in the ms0:/ISO folder then launch it from your Game Menu memory Stick. Make sure you have a UMD in the Bay. Unless you have the NO UMD option set in recovery. If you do have NO UMD set in recovery menu make sure it is the Sony NP9660 NO UMD option.

What file format is the demo in plus what is the demo for?

Thanks you guy's I will try and let you all know getting late, I will try it in the morn. Ok change to Sony NP9660 NO UMD, put it in psp/game352/ folder and it will still not play. It is a Demo that I downloaded from playstation.com file name is EBOOT.pbp & gshare.drm, it is in folder psp/game352/UCUS98645D. The file will work on my son's PSP with Sony's 3.70.

It is possible that Sony made all their demos require 3.70 to play. Wait for 3.70 M33 or download the full game from a torrent site (if you are a pirate)

Hi all, ive never done these forum things before frankly because i am a firm believer in figuring out my problems on my own, but i need help on this one....
Im definitely NOT a NOOB but im not a veteran to the PSP world either...
Basically, i heard of the Pandora battery a while back and was recently able to go to a friends house and try it out on his cfw....
so anyways i didnt know what guide to use, as i soon figured out that many either didnt work or werent specific enough...
so i downloaded the Pandora Battery GUI tool and it was easy...4 steps and that was it. I pressed X on the Battery creator, and i did save the EPROOM (or w/e its called) onto the stick before i created the battery itself.
I put both the battery and stick in my psp at the same time (my psp isnt bricked its just a fw 3.52, i know, im very ignorant, i apologize)and nothing happened, both the memory stick light and the WLAN light did not turn on, and my psp just didnt do anything....
So i tried making the battery again, and no luck...
Heres the funny part, my friend reformatted my 2 gb stick i was using, meaning the saved EPROOM (or w/e) battery info is now gone. Now as you know, the psp wont turn out with this new battery, but it can use power from the battery as long as it is turned on with the AC adaptor first...so i dont think my battery is entirely messed up....

My question is, have i just ruined my chances of getting a psp with cfw on it, or can i still use my semi-functioning battery to recreate the Pandora battery? Any info would be greatly appreciated

I would create the magic memory stick again. This time put in the battery first. the power light should come on. then insert the MS. If the screen doesn't come on after a few hit the brightness button see if the screen will light up.

Since your friend deleted the EEPROM off the MS you can still recover the battery by plugin the PSP (Without the battery) into the Wall Charger and turn it on. When you boot up insert the Battry and start the Pandora Creator again and press square. This will create a fake EEPROM to replace the 1 that your friend deleted.

The only problem with this is there could be after effects on the battery. (Not charge all the way/Charging could become slower))

my psp suddenly started having I/O errors so I need to ship it back to sony so they can refurbish it. Naturally I dont want to send it back with my m33 firmware on it. Id rather not have to use a Pandora is there another way? If not once I have a Pandora how would you "Delete ms0" you cant just do it by connecting to your computer and deleting all the files and hidden files you could see?

You can download this RECOVERY file.

Extract it and bring the RECOVERY folder to /PSP/GAME

Then go into recovery and select "RUN PROGRAM AT /PSP/GAME/RECOVERY/EBOOT.PBP

After you downgrade to 1.50 format the Memory Stick.

Why do you have to send the Memory Stick to Sony for anyway? All they should need is the PSP.

thank you for the instructions and you bring up an excellent point. I assumed that the firmware was not just on the memory stick. If they wont be able to tell the difference if I just send them the psp then I have no need to restore to the factory firmware at the moment.
So the firmware is on the memory stick only? and they will not know I have installed custom firmware if I send them only the psp?

just to clarify for others, The firmware IS on the psp not the memory stick and you will need to downgrade to factory before you send it in to be refurbished. They frown on people using the things they buy however they please.
Thanks again for the help.

if you can remember what firmware it came with, just update to that. you can find fimware on dl.qj.net. if you had firmware higher than 3.11, then you will need to patch it before upgrading because the ta-082 motherboard will have a corrupt key #5

ps2: v7 scph-39001 - independence exploit - hdloader 0.8c - maxtor 300gb hdd
(+[__]%) psp slim ta-085v1: 6.60 PRO B10
wii (powered by bootmii/priiloader): 4.1u - d2x v10beta53-alt (base 56) - configurable usb loader v70r51/devolution r188 - wd scorpio black 7200rpm 320gig w/ ams venus ds2 enclosure

got a whole lot more to list . . .

Thank you for the reply!
I think I was using 3.0 or 3.01 so I downloaded both of them (neither have install instructions) so I tried to simply stick the eboot.pbp in the psp/game folder and run them from the psp but the psp sais no game data. Im not having any luck finding instructions ither =/ Thanks in advance
