I got 2.81 on my psp and the right button doesn't work, is there an autoinstaller that will put 1.5 on my psp (so i don't need to use the right key!)

ummmm only way to downgrade is 3.03 or 3.10 or 3.50 or the best, pandora battery.
and i dont think so.
PSP History > 2.71 > 1.50 > 3.03 OE-C > 1.50 > 3.03 OE-C > 3.40 OE-A > 3.51 m33-7

OK guys someone's gotta help me out i have been trying to downgrade for day now but still haveing problems. I am trying to use pandora to downgrade, firstly i couldn't use the mspformat command so i googled it and found out that i cannot run it in vista so i managed to sort that out on my old computer, the next step tells me to install the files using the installer, what is the installer where is it please osmeone please help me out

You can not use your 2.81 official firmware PSP to create the Pandora battery either.
You will need a PSP that has 1.50 or custom firmware already installed on it. This is a requirement because you need to run unsigned code on the PSP and Official firmware higher then 1.50 will not run unsigned code.
Just in case you have borrowed a 1.50 or CFW PSP you can follow this GUIDE to create the Pandora Battery.
If you don't have a PSP with 1.50 or CFW on it then you have the options below.
1) Update the 2.81 firmware to 3.03. You will need an unpatched version of GTA Liberty City Stories to run this downgrader.
2) Update the 2.81 firmware to 3.50. You will need an unpatched version of Lumines game to run this downgrader.
Here are GUIDES to both of those methods.
If you are going to use the GTA Liberty City Stories method look under the section of "-2.81 - 3.03 Any Motherboard"
If your going to use the Lumines method look under the section of "-3.10 - 3.50 Any Motherboard"

I am still stuck i have been trying to follow all the guides but still stuck, please someone's gotta help. I have managed to use mspformat and i have copied the battrey files on the psp (when i goto game the menu shows corrupted data folder then, pandora's battery creator, corrupted file and last pandora's battrey firm. Installer, I have tried running both of these but the psp goes off and that's all when i restart it, no extra files can be seen on the psp please help meeeee.

What PSP are you trying to use to create the Pandora Battery? Your PSP with 2.81 official firmware?
If so YOU CAN NOT MAKE THE PANDORA BATTERY WITH IT!

Many thanks for telling me that, I have another psp with 3.03 eo can i use that? Also will it change anything on it cos it plays all my games and i don't wanna change anything on it.

Yes your 3.03 OE can create it. The only setting you will have to change is in Recovery menu. Change the GAME FOLDER kernel to 1.50 but after you are done you can change it back to 3.03 or whatever kernel it has.
Also if you have issues with the R shoulder button. You can install 3.52 M33-4 firmware on the PSP it has a VshMenu that will let you control some of the recovery settings. CPU SPEED/USB DEVICE/UMD MODE without having to actually go into the recovery menu.
I think the VshMenu is enabled by default but am not postivley sure. If it isn't then you won't be able to use it.

Thanks for you help, this site is great. I am new to downgrades but the guides are very hard to follow, they all say that you need a psp with custom fireware on it but none say that you have to use that to make the battery and key, simple once you've done it one. Thanks again I love this site
