Hi I am new to this forum, so I just got my wii modded with wii key and got the wii key updated to 1.2 my firware on the wii is 3.0 I have a NTCS wii and I tryed to run a bacup of NTCS Carnival Games on my wii.The screen on the menu comes up but when I click start ,after I hear the dvd load a blank screen comes up saying can't read game disc please refer to manuel.I also have a madden 08 backup it works(like the drills and stuff) except till the point where you want to play an actual football game. It works for about 30 seconds then a screen comes up saying can't read madden 08 disc.I have reburnt Madden with a no-name dvd and this time it won't even play. Can somone help me I tryed to use maxwell DVD+R and No Name DVD-R so far the only thing I have had at least running is the no name DVD-R.I use image burn to burn the dvds. What do you think the problem is?

dunno, I went through several different types (none of which were verbatim) and in the end I found that every single time that I burn a game using Sony DVD-R's they work. I haven't had a single failed game with Sony so I've stuck with them for a long time now.

I was just wondering what brand of blank DVD works best? SONY, Memorex,...etc? Right now the one I used to try to burn my Wii Sports didn't work and I think it might be because I don't have the right one. I am using a DVD + R from Hypermedia. What ones have other people used that work well? Thanks

about my last thing that said what works best....i just read on my drive that it is DVD+ReWritable. So does that mean to burn my games I have to use DVD +RW or DVD+R? or can i use - R or - RW?

I see no one has answered your question so I will do my best. First of all I am pretty sure that the Wii likes -R media the most and second of all if your burner says +RW-+R then that is the only media you can burn. When buying burners this should be the very first thing that you check and then of course the speed of the burner. I use a program called cheetah dvd to burn my Wii games to a HP DVD-R and it works great in the Wii with no problems. I would recommend that you get a _+R-+RW burner so you can burn any type media you prefer. I would defintely use -R media for the Wii. Hope this helps.

Why don't you keep your big f***en mouth shut. Just because I make a post to give someone a little help is no reason for you to start your a**hole bashing as you always do. Confucious say better for you to keep your mouth shut and to be thought a fool then to open your big f***en mouth and leave no room for dought. Put that in your pipe and smoke it, and by the way you might consider having an intimate relationship with your boyfriend to relieve a little bit of you stress problem. HaHaHaHaHaHaHaHa!!!!!!!!!!!!!

P.S. I sure hope you and your boyfriend get things worked out so your when you post something it is a little more dignified, and not so elementary school kid shit.
