its not the iso that got corrupt. i think its something to do with the firmware. the moment in finished using the web(for the first time after installing this custom firmware)no isos not even my umd disk would start up. its weird, cause i tried running my sampler umd and it worked. i tried starting an iso, my sampler started up. like i have no idea wats wrong wit my psp. it tried fomating the mem stick, still the same.

it says the game connot be started (8001242) every time i try to start an iso or a umd game disc

@mo2k2

Did you install 3.52 M33-4 straight from 1.50 or did you install 3.52 M33 first then 3.52 M33-4?

And yes if you want to downgrade to 1.50 then back up use this RECOVERY folder. Place it in /PSP/GAME folder then run the...

RUN PROGRAM AT /PSP/GAME/RECOVERY/EBOOT.PBP to go back to 1.50.

Make sure you install 3.52 M33 first then go to 3.52 M33-4.

Had similer issues before, try to to the recovery, configrations, and disable all options, and set the kernal to 3.52..

Then go to advanced, advanced configration, and disable all options.. thats the default settings, doing that will make you run your ISOs and play your UMDs..

Once you try this, post a reply..

You are welcome, i think changing the settings to what suits you wont have any harm, and incase it had any issues, now you know how to get it back working, and to know more info about the 3.52 M33 recovery, you can check larrylje's RECOVERY MENU for 3.52 M33 Overview -->

In the advanced, advanced configuration settings I would keep those settings disabled.

But you should be able to enable anything in the configuration settings. If you don't want a UMD in the bay while playing ISO/CSO games then go to UMD MODE and choose Sony NP9660 NO UMD for that option.
