My 360 scratching discs because of tray allignment?

I rented Bioshock and the disc was perfect, brand new. But after a couple days of playing, I got a dirty disc message. I took the disc out of my xbox for the first time since I put it in, and there were all these marks in the shape of rings on the disc. It is evident that my 360 is scratching my discs but is it because of my tray allignment? about 1/3 of the time I try to open my xbox, the disc tray gets stuck and goes back into the 360 and then I have to try again. Whats going on?

it may be that the magnet in the drive has came off.

Can you give a little more explanation? What could I do to fix that and how can I know for sure? And I might need to mention that with a mixture of not paying attention, lazyness, stupidity, and lack of common sense, I accidentally put in two games in at the same time before hand. But these problems occured several months after that incident.

You will need a new console... Can you tell me when your console was manufactured? One of my 11 consoles that M$ has sent me scratched 3 of my disks to an unreadable point
Microsoft did however send me new games...!

I am not sure when it was made. I know I got it on January 1st 06. So how do I call 'em and get my games replaced?

Call 1-800-4my XBOX you will also need to have your console replaced... Be sure to talk to a supervisor or else you will have a huge hassel on youy hands
