3.03 OE-A is working fine...
But when I try to boot an iso file, the system
gives me the error "The game could not be started. (80020321)".
Was I supposed to name the ISO something different? As you can tell,
I'm a n00b & haven't found a user guide. The read-me file didn't help.
The game's icon shows up fine... It's title is Radiant Mythology,
so I'm guessing all is in order. I really wonder what's wrong...
Any help would be insanely appreciated!

ok you need a higher firmware,if i was you i would go upto 3.52m33
you can do this by going here http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/460892
just download the file from the link, connect your psp to your pc via usb,run the file you downloaded from link and follow instructions, this will place all nessecary files in the right folders now disconnect psp from pc and go to game and launch the m33 updater follow the onscreen instructions and voila in 2 mins you will be on 3.52m33 this will allow you to play all the latest games
hope this helps

That sounds like it'll fix all my problems! But neither the
KXploit Permanent Patcher, nor the 3.52 M33Update will run.
I'm getting the same error when I try to start them. "The game
could not be read. (80020148)".
I guess this means I'm going to have to downgrade to 1.50 again.
But I'm not sure how to. Do I need a specific downgrader to turn
3.03 OE-A back into 1.50?
Thanks for all your help! :3

ok format your memory stick, now when you connect via usb you will see a folder called iso place all iso/cso's there, now also you will need to put update 4 on you can get that here
http://pspx.ru/forum/showthread.php?p=497224#post497224
you will have to register as it is the m33 official site and now your on m33 it would be a good place to be a member lol
the update 4 will put cool features on like a built in umd ripper and it will work out some minor bugs

Hmmm... so close to completion!
I signed up with PSPx forums & downloaded the Update 4 files.
But for some reason, my psp does not want to be recognized by my
computer anymore! It's there! It says USB Mass Storage Device, Sony PSP
USB Device. But the drive isn't showing. It just says Generic Volume,
and no drive letter beside that.
Jeez sooo close!

try restarting your pc or go into recover mode and toggle usb see if that works or if you have a card reader use that

Awesome! The computer assigns the psp a drive now! Back in business.
I'm not sure what to do with these M33 Update 4 files.
You'd think there'd be a little tutorial typed into the Readme.
But I guess that's not a popular idea.

Awesome! Now running 3.52 M33-4!
But neither Radiant Mythology's iso, nor Rengoku 2's cso want to boot.
It shows the PSP logo with a white background like normal, as if it IS
going to boot...but then the same error. "Game could not be read."
I formatted the memory stick, added the iso & cso again,
but still got the same results.

I definitely wanted to try something before I responded...
but I don't know how to go into Recovery Mode, so I just tried to
put a UMD in the drive, & boot the game. That worked!
Thank you so much for looking after me! :3

lol thats all you had to do to start with then,oh well never mind at least you are at the top of the psp chain now you have the highest custom firmware lol,for future reference to get into recovery mode turn off the psp(make sure it's not in sleep mode)then hold the right shoulder button down while you turn it on,but seeing as you got it to work you won't need to change any settings
