when i play okami the music cuts out when fighting after a few seconds, its annoying as hell. maybe it is the one i got, but i havent heard about it. is this a known problem or does anyone know of one that doesnt do this?

Did you rip it from an original copy or download it?

What media (what brand of dvds) are you using?

What speed are the dvds and what speed are you burning it at?

If you ripped it from an original, what program did you use?

What program did you burn it with?

Just to confirmed, I ripped this game from an original disc, and it works perfectly. Using 1st class media though, so you need to check your media.

Yeah I also ripped it from an original and burnt to a Verbatim 8x burnt at 4x and it worked fine, but he didn't give many details so more info is needed, for all we know he *is* using good qual media.
